Na sheladanou is the only way to say goodbye in czech, that I know of. What it actually means is: Until we meet again. I´ll be leaving Prague tomorrow feeling completely satified. She has once again shown me all of her grace and beauty. She´s been kind, I couldn´t ask for anything more. It´s been a tremendous week, everything glowing in the autumn low sunlight, the weather perfect every day.
I will not say goodbye, but ´til we meet again. On my first visit I was a mere tourist, on mz second I had advanced to guest, this time I´ve been a visitor and now I´m ready to become a tourist once again. Before this trip it was an impossibility to think that I would come here for the famous Prague Spring. Too many tourists, I have been thinking. Today, I very well can imagine myself visiting over a weekend or for a couple of week days, spending my money on music, concerts, art and theatre. I won´t return on my own though. Next time I want company.
I feel ready to go home.
Na sheladanou Praha!
Och välkommen hem till Sverige igen!
